Support the Zoo
Did you know that ticket sales do not cover the full costs of operating the Los Angeles Zoo and building for its future? That we depend on your contributions to help make the Zoo the best it can be? Please join the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) in supporting the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens, a premier institution committed to educating the public about the importance of wildlife and wild places in our world.
Gifts to GLAZA come in many different sizes and for many different purposes. Donations large and small help to construct state-of-the-art animal exhibits such as Campo Gorilla Reserve, support critical species conservation programs at the Zoo and across the world, and provide funds for innovative animal health care equipment as well as for education programs such as Zoo Camp and ZooMobile. They make possible special projects that enhance the entertainment of visitors, including Papiano Play Park, a popular spot for our youngest patrons. And they secure the future of the Zoo, by building a strong endowment. With ever-increasing pressure on wildlife worldwide, our work has never been more important and your donations more critical. Donate Your Car Looking for a tax deduction? Call Riteway Charity Services at 888/250-4490 and make an appointment for them to pick up your car, boat, or RV. You'll get a receipt, allowing you to deduct 100% of the vehicle's fair market value from your income, as allowed by law. The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association receives 100% of the net proceeds from your car donation, which will go directly to the Los Angeles Zoo! |

Give to GLAZA through Ralphs Club Card Contributions!All Ralphs Club Card members who are currently enrolled in the Ralphs Community Contribution Program will remain active until August 31, 2008. Participants will be required to register for the new term at www.Ralphs.com that will be effective on September 1, 2008. Specific registration dates will be announced shortly. |
